Cagliari d'Amare is at Via Roma 167 in central Cagliari, 50 metres from the train station and the ARST bus terminal on Piazza Matteotti. Piazza del Carmine is 100 metres away, the Botanical Garden 550 metres and the Bastione di Saint Remy around 650 metres; the Marina is about five minutes' walk and Castello around ten. Elmas airport is 4.6 km away.

Rates at Cagliari d'Amare vary with the season, the day of the week and availability, and they also depend on the room: the Comfort Single, the doubles and the larger Deluxe Triple are priced differently. Solo travellers have the Comfort Single Room.

Alternatively there are a few daily ARST buses to Piazza Matteotti and taxis at the Arrivals rank around the clock; by car the trip takes about a quarter of an hour.

The rooms are described as soundproofed, but the property is on Via Roma, a busy street, and metro construction work is under way between Via Roma and Piazza Matteotti, with completion expected by the end of 2027. Light sleepers can ask for a room facing the inner courtyard, such as the Deluxe Triple or some Standard Doubles, and pack earplugs.
